Why We Don't Make Nimbus's Most Critical Part In-House
Nimbus works with Hänssler in Germany on a sealing system engineered specifically for extreme oleo-pneumatic suspension conditions.
Partners in the GCC — Nimbus and Stars Overland
Nimbus partners with Stars Overland in Dubai to deliver professional installation, pressure checks, and ongoing support for Nimbus suspensions across the GCC region.
Petrol Ped Drove the First Squire Defender on Nimbus Erebus
Petrol Ped drove the same Squire Editions Defender before and after Nimbus Erebus was fitted. His reaction gives the setup a useful real-world reference point.
Land Cruiser 76, 78 and 79. We finally did it
Nimbus supports Toyota Land Cruiser 76, 78 and 79 Series models with dedicated Erebus setups.
Squire Edition x Nimbus = A Defender that drives like a car
Squire Editions builds some of the most premium custom Defenders in the world. When they needed a suspension to match, they chose Nimbus Erebus.
Where Everything Is Decided
When you change every component in a suspension, the interactions change. Erebus valving was redesigned from the ground up so every improvement becomes a coherent system.
The protection that is part of the metal
For Erebus, we replaced Cerakote with Type III hard anodization. The protection no longer sits on the metal — it grows into the metal, to MIL-A-8625 spec.
The part you never think about
On every Nimbus Erebus, two small bearings connect your suspension to the chassis. We chose FLURO — a German specialist with 50 years of motorsport and aerospace pedigree — to make these invisible parts matter.
The First Millimeter
When a suspension feels dead, the problem usually starts in the first millimeter of movement. For Erebus, we started there.
