ENHANCED COMFORT
Air functions as a cushion, delivering extraordinary comfort - like driving on a cloud. With oleo-pneumatic technology, road bumps or gravel become imperceptible as they are effectively absorbed by the air.
IMPROVED GRIP & TRACTION
Nimbus provides exceptional grip and traction by incorporating softer damping during compression-damping transitional phases. This results in efficient filtering and significant dampening of minor road imperfections.
HEIGHTENED SENSITIVITY
Air provides a progressive absorption curve, with heightened sensitivity at the beginning of the stroke (providing a cushion-like effect), and gradually becoming firmer the more you push.
ADJUSTABLE SETTINGS
The air pressure can be adjusted at any point to accommodate a greater load or specific driving requirements/ preferences, all while ensuring optimal comfort and performance remain unaffected.
NO BOTTOMING OUT
Using air improves the curve of absorption. Conventional metal spring shocks have a constant (linear) curve, while oleo-pneumatic shocks are more adaptive. Our progressive curve ends in a straight line, meaning it is virtually impossible to bottom out.
WEIGHT REDUCTION
We primarily use aerospace-grade aluminum for manufacturing most of the parts we need. It offers multiple advantages, such as enhanced corrosion resistance, but perhaps the most notable benefit is the significant weight reduction, making our shocks exceptionally lightweight.

" When the 4x4 was driving, we were right behind it. Personally, I was able to witness the effectiveness of Nimbus suspensions!
I was blown away by its road handling when we had to make 90-degree turns. The vehicle didn’t slow down or barely did, and its trajectory remained unchanged, with no loss of grip.
Meanwhile, I had to slow down, taking a wider angle to turn, or I had to maintain my speed and drift through the turn to minimize speed loss.
The same happened for a level 3 danger bump while crossing the track. The 4x4 didn’t slow down, it took a jump, and the landing wasn’t harsh. It looked like it landed on air cushions with no deviation in trajectory.
Personally, I encourage everyone to try them. It’s mind-blowing!

HOW DO OLEO-PNEUMATIC SUSPENSIONS WORK?
Nimbus oleo-pneumatic suspension systems harness the unique properties of oil and nitrogen to absorb and dissipate shock loads effectively.
Within each chamber, nitrogen acts as a highly progressive spring, compressing under impact to cushion bumps and absorb vibrations, while oil flows through carefully engineered, spring-loaded flaps and orifices that precisely control the piston's movement during both shock absorption and rebound.
By fine-tuning the nitrogen pressure within the system, you can adjust the effective spring rate to accommodate significant load changes - such as adding or removing up to 800 lbs (about 400 kg) - without compromising comfort or performance. This makes Nimbus the perfect solution for both regular, occasional or permanent overlanding.
This dynamic balance between oil damping and adjustable nitrogen pressure ensures a smoother, more stable ride every time, every mile, on every terrain.
